Youth Artists Honor the Life and Legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.


Join the Richmond Youth Peace Project in commemorating the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. with our annual Youth Educoncert, Generation Dream.  To arrange an audition, email

Generation Dream features talented youth performers from throughout the Richmond metropolitan area. Performances include singers, dancers, instrumental musicians, dramatists and spoken word artists. Each performance in some way reflects Dr. King’s message of peace, nonviolence and social justice.

 This year, Generation Dream 2014 will be held on Friday, February 5, 2016, 7 p.m. at the Richmond Public Library’s Main Branch, 101 E. Franklin St.

A second show will also be scheduled, at a location to be determined.

All performances are free and open to the public.
